Achievement of Google+ with 62 Million Users

Google+ will become a serious competitor to Facebook. This was proved by the data which reported that the number of Google users + has reached about 62 million at the end of 2011.

This data is released by Paul Allen, a statistics expert observer of socialnetworking. Allen has followed the development of Google + since it first launched.According to data was collected, the number who signed up in July 2011 reached 10 million people. Then in August amounted to doubled, about 20.5 million users.

Drastic increase occurred in December, starting from January 1 up to 27 were recorded from 50 million to 62 million users, which means is almost a quarter of the total in that month.

Allen explains, this is possible because of the holiday season has arrived,advertisements from various media, the discussion of the various forums and by word of mouth, or a combination of all. "After all it is undeniable that the increase inusers has increased dramatically in recent weeks," Allen said.

If this condition can be maintained, it could be in 2012, Google+ users will reach 100 million users only in February next year.

However, these data are obtained illegally or simply based on the calculation ofAllen alone. And these results are calculated based on the number of users whohave registered his account, and did not see whether the user is active or not.

Google not even comment on the data displayed by Paul Allen. Google officially disclose the data via its CEO, namely Larry Page that says that Google+ users new was about 40 million people.
